Klein-Horlach-Alm

The Horlach Alms are two alpine meadows, Klein-Horlach at 1,800 m and Groß-Horlach at 1,850 m, located within 300 meters of each other. These alms in the Horlach Valley in Niederthai offer a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains and the grazed meadows.

Parking: Sennhof parking lot in Niederthai (next to the information office). From there, follow the forest path along the Horlachbach stream into the Horlachtal, passing the Larstigalm until reaching Kleinhorlachalm. Elevation gain: 370 meters Hiking time: 1.5 hours (3 hours round trip) Return route: Same path, but from Larstigalm, the "Bergmahderweg" or "Grastalweg" are also options.
