Kanzel

As the name suggests, this viewpoint nestles against the mountain. The rocky outcrop protrudes slightly from the forest, offering a wonderful view over Oetz. From here, you can observe the village life from above, while still feeling somewhat detached from the lively hustle and bustle below. Your gaze is inevitably drawn to the church, which also stands elevated, prominently visible on the opposite side of the valley. There are several paths leading to the Kanzel viewpoint, but the easiest route is from a junction on the Piburger Landesstraße.
