Heiliges Grab

On the height of the Klausenberg is the Calvary complex with its three buildings and the crucifixion group.

Starting from the parish church St. Johann bei Herberstein and after a little more than half an hour of reaching the height of the Klausenberg, you find yourself at the “Holy Sepulchre”, which is not only the name of the entire Calvary complex with its three buildings and the crucifixion group but also the adjoining vineyard to the south.

The Way of the Cross to the Holy Sepulchre leads us through a beautiful, relaxing forest path. It allows us to find peace, marvel at nature, and get a glimpse of the Creator's grandeur. And in this beautiful place stand the three chapels known as the Holy Sepulchre. On the way to the Holy Sepulchre, two buildings still stand out today: the Hubertus Cross and the Rosalia Chapel.
