Take the cable car to the Markbachjoch Mountain from Niederau. Past the Markbachjoch Alm and over the Lanerköpfl to Halsgatterl. Here according to legend a man from the Wildschönau and a girl from the Brixen Valley met up, fell in love and became the founder members of the Wildschönau community. Carry on to the Norderberg Alm and return to the Markbachjoch.
