The start is at the Marienbergbahn valley station in Biberwier. Pass the Hotel MyTirol and follow route no. 835 to Weißensee. At Weißensee follow the Via Claudia Augusta to the Fernpass. Shortly after the Fernpass (1,220m), downhill to Schloss Fernsteinsee (970m) and carry on to Nasserreith (820m). Continue over the Roßbach towards Aschland/Holzleitensattel, approx. 100m after the end of Aschland, turn left into route no. 605 to the Marienbergalm. This route leads past the Marienbergalm (1,662m) to the highest point of the tour, the Marienbergjoch. Follow route no. 835 past the Sunnalm to the starting point.
Variation: From the Sunnalm, you can alternativel take the single trail route no. 869 "Barbarasteig" S2.
