The walk begins along the Kurhotel Promenade or the Panoramaweg trail (no. 65) to the former Hotel Schneeweiß. Here the trail branches off in a northerly direction through the Mühlwald forest. After around 300 m you come to the first fork – the trail that leads left takes you back to Seefeld via the Triendlsäge mountain restaurant. The trail to the right (no. 66) initially leads through the forest and later crosses the Seebach stream to the old power station. Following the brook downstream the trail leads towards the Bodenalm hut (open in summer only) before it branches off to the left, crosses the stream, passes a few houses and leads to the Triendlsäge mountain restaurant (trail no. 64).
