This beautiful circuit starts above the bathing lake at the starting point in Hüttling, where you can also park. (pay and display) From there, you walk downhill part of the way along the road until you come to some farm houses. Turn left here and walk along the road towards St. Johann and enter an idyllic and virtually untouched landscape. The Wilder Kaiser accompanies you on your way and you have an uninterrupted view of the imposing Kitzbüheler Horn mountain. You will then reach the Römerhof inn, which is based in a quiet location that is ideal for a refreshment stop. At the next intersection, turn left towards the Wilder Kaiser and walk through the forest accompanied by the pleasant freshness and calm rushing of the Rettenbach stream. The trail snakes its way up a hill until you turn right and head along small trails and bathing bridges as you enter the moorland landscape. When you arrive at the clearing, your gaze will fall on the gentle valley floor of the Kitzbüheler Alps. Follow the trail along the moor-grass as you head towards Graspoint-Niederalm. Make your way across small paths, through green Alpine meadows and past grazing cows to reach the refreshment stop at Graspoint-Niederalm. Stop here for a short break and enjoy the beautiful mountain panorama. Innkeeper Sabine will be happy to serve up a genuine Alpine snack for you. Suitably fortified, you should then follow the forest road back in the direction of Going until you reach the Aschingerkapelle chapel and your original starting point.
