Starting point is the valley station of the former Sattelberg cable cars. First a short ascent on the former piste, past the Larcherhof. Then keep to the right and walk through the beautiful forest or on the piste to the former Sattelberg middle station (1,630 m). On the left is the rustic Sattelbergalm, which invites you to take a break. Continue left at the middle station on a path to the signpost "Sattelbergspitze", then right on a forest path up through the forest until you reach a fence (border with Italy). Approximately follow the fence and shortly before the summit swing out to the right and climb the Sattelbergspitze. Alternatively, you can also ascend to the summit via the slopes.
Descend via the former slopes.
