From the starting point, first walk along a farm road (toboggan run) until behind a bridge. From there you walk across the meadows past the Unterreins- and Oberreinsalm and uphill you keep a little right until you reach the former inn at the lake. Now follow the path on the right side of the lake. Through snow-covered forest, the path leads along the entire lakeshore and back to the lakeside inn. On the way is the picturesquely situated lakeside church "Maria am See". The descent is either via the toboggan run or like the ascent.
