To get the golden hiking boot, you have to reach 5000 points and hike the compulsory tours of the high alpine pin.
You can pick up the hiking pin at the tourist office Grossarltal upon presentation of the hiked destinations. A fee of € 5,50 (3,50 with guest card) is charged for the hiking pins, which are elaborately handcrafted in the province of Salzburg.
