Almhof Mareil

A cozy mountain inn located between Ochsengarten and Kühtai, directly along the Kaiser-Franz-Josef Trail, Höllwiesen Trail, and Knappen Trail.

A dedicated bus stop is located just below the inn. In summer, enjoy homemade specialties from our own farm while taking in the breathtaking mountain views. We offer fresh trout daily and a BBQ evening every Friday.

The Almhof is directly situated on the Kaiser-Franz-Josef Trail, Höllwiesen Trail, and Knappen Trail. As a starting point for many hikes, a bus stop is conveniently located below the inn. From Ochsengarten, follow the marked trail through Höllwiesen to Mareil (approx. 1 hour). A detailed route description can be found on the website linked below.
