Hämmermoosalm

The cozy Hämmermoosalm (1.417m), managed all year round, is situated at the beginning of the pasture paradise Gaistal and easy to reach for families. The hut can be reached either on a wide gravel road (toboggan run in winter) or on the steeper Ganghofer way which is not allowed for bike use.

On Saturdays and Sundays you can have brunch at the Hämmermoosalm! Always from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., by reservation only at +43 5214 20244 or alm@die-haemmermoos.com.

Four different dining rooms offer enouth space to enjoy, also private celebrations are possible - on request. The spacious sun terrace with its deck chairs and benches under shady umbrellas is the best place to admire the beautiful mountain panorama during the summer time.

During the summer months from the beginning of May until the end of October, numerous hikes and (e-)bike tours leads through the picturesque Wetterstein mountains. On the playground of the hut, children can experience also many exciting adventures. The e-bike can be charged at the hut, but you must bring your own charger.
