Kreuzeck

Kreuzeck is one of the popular summit destinations in the mountaineering village of Hüttschlag. The mountain is located above Karteis Törl and offers an impressive view of Lake Tappenkar, the largest mountain lake in the Eastern Alps. Due to its location, it also provides a wide view of the surrounding mountain landscape and the peaks of the Hohe Tauern. Kreuzeck is a well-known tour destination both in summer and winter.
Arrival information
Ride the hiking taxi directly to Hallmoosalm in Hüttschlag. Alternatively, take the Postbus 540 to the Hüttschlag Karteis stop and from there hike up to Hallmoosalm (approximately 1 ½ hours).
