Frischmannhütte

The Frischmannhütte, located at 2,192 m, is nestled in the roots of the Blockkogel and Fundus Feiler in the valley named after the latter, the Fundustal. With a stunning view of the surrounding mountain landscape, visitors can enjoy Tyrolean specialties and homemade cakes. The nearby Köfler Waalweg invites hikers to take a scenic panoramic walk after a refreshing break.

From Umhausen, the trail leads up to the Leierstal and Fundustal intersection. From there, the path continues into Fundustal, passing the Vordere and Hintere Fundusalm before reaching the Frischmannhütte (approx. 3 1/2 hours). If you prefer a shorter route, a hut taxi can take you to the Hintere Fundusalm, from where it’s a 45-minute hike to the hut.
