Mühle Piburg

The Piburg Mill was operated by locals until 1914. Due to the availability of cheap imported flour, running the mill was no longer profitable, leading to the building’s decay and eventual demolition. The discovery of the old millstones in 2011 was the key reason for rebuilding the mill, and they are now used in the newly reconstructed structure. Since 2014, the mill has served as a gathering place for the village community to bake together, and guided tours with bread baking are offered for those interested.
