Seejöchl

If you're looking for peace and quiet away from the well-trodden tourist paths, Seejöchl is just the right place. Up here, the world still feels untouched. After a partly steep ascent to the viewing platform above Lake Piburg, you're rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the lake and the surrounding mountain peaks. From this bird’s-eye perspective, you can watch the lively bustle around 150 meters below. The platform offers cozy seating areas, inviting you to pause and enjoy the scenery. The trail is shared by hikers and mountain/e-bike riders, though the final stretch to the platform must be done on foot only. Depending on your starting point, the climb may be relatively easy or more challenging. The easiest routes lead from the hamlets of Piburg or Haderlehn, but you can also reach the platform from the southwestern lakeshore or from Oetz via Kohlstatt.
