Welcome to the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena, the region on the sunny side of the Zugspitze.
The Tiroler Zugspitz Arena comprises seven charming little villages: Ehrwald, Lermoos, Berwang, Biberwier, Heiterwang, Bichlbach/Lähn-Wengle and Namlos. In addition to its main attraction, the majestic 2,962-metre-high Zugspitze, the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena has a lot to offer: from crystal-clear mountain lakes, varied climbing and hiking routes and diverse bike tours in summer to 120 kilometres of extensive cross-country skiing trails, 60 kilometres of maintained winter hiking trails and a total of 7 ski areas in winter. In the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena, there is something for everyone.
The Tiroler Zugspitz Arena rightly enjoys a reputation as one of the most popular hiking regions in Tyrol. A total of over 150 different hiking routes can be explored. Those who want to go high up and are experienced can try their hand at a demanding summit tour or a challenging via ferrata. For those who prefer to take it easy, the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena offers gentle valley hiking trails or family-friendly hiking routes and adventure trails.
Throughout the region, hikers can collect stamps at stamp points, huts and summits with SummitLynx, via app, and thus capture unique moments. However, this is not only possible in summer, but also on numerous winter hiking trails. Digital stamps can also be collected on the region's cross-country ski trails.
