Route: Leutasch / Salzbach bridge - Gaistal - Ehrwald mountain inn Alpenglühn
This medium-difficulty tour scores above all with its impressive views of the rocky peaks of the Wettersteingebirge and Mieminger mountain ranges, as well as the possibility of taking a leisurely break on the Gaistalm, Tillfußalm or Felderalm alpine pastures situated on the sunny side under the Wettersteingebirge. The tour starts at the Salzbach car park in the Gaistal valley in Leutasch. From there it goes comfortably via forest way moderately ascending direction Ehrwald. Only the last kilometres up to the mountain inn Alpenglühn are steep. Return the same way. Tip: This tour can also be done the other way round.
