The Olympic round - explore the Olympic region Seefeld on 2 wheels in one day - for bikers with good fitness! The route starts at the Seefeld Information Office and leads southwest across Bahnhofplatz to the intersection. Keep right here and follow Reitherspitzstraße to the next intersection at Hotel Bergland (on your left). Turn right and follow the road slightly uphill for about 100 m until you reach the first junction, which leads to the left into the Wildseepromenade. From here on the road goes straight on along the wide and very well passable forest road up to the small chapel. After a short, not too steep descent, take the municipal road that leads to Auland, but then turn left immediately and change to the south side of the main road (underpass) to the forest at the Ichthyolwerk. After a steep, but only very short ascent you are at the northeastern beginning of the bee nature trail. Follow it to the next crossroads and here not the bee nature trail, but on the left the panorama trail and further through the Hölltal valley to the Kaiserstand. Exit towards Reith but not to the centre, but at the end of the village, shortly before the underpass, turn left into the Kalktalweg and follow it until the asphalt road leads into a gravel road. Follow the gravel road (parallel to the railway tracks on the right side) until you reach the ÖBB train station Leithen. Then turn right through the underpass and follow the Kobesbichlweg downhill until you reach the main road. After crossing the main road, follow the Leithener Wiesenweg until it leads into a gravel path. Follow this path until it joins the Niederwiesenweg, continue in the direction of Auland past Café Englhof. As at the start, follow the same path from Wildsee to the crossroads at Landhaus Seerose. Turn left here through the bypass tunnel and left again to Sportalm Seefeld, where you can take your first breather. At the Sportalm on the right and below the ski jumps through the WM-Arena from the WM-Sprungturm in the direction of Mösern. In Mösern follow the signs to Möserer See, then to Lottensee, Wildmoossee and then towards Buchen. At the junction turn north to the Muggenmoosalm. Continue in the direction of Leutasch Weidach, past Weidachsee and to the Leutasch information office. At the information office Leutasch direction northwest and before the bridge turn right. Follow the Achweg along the turquoise-blue Leutascher Ache until you reach the Burggraben district. On the way you will pass the climbing garden Flämenwandl, at the Tirol Camp and at the Gasthof Zur Brücke. At the Gasthof turn right onto the country road and follow it across the border in the direction of Mittenwald until you reach the bridge at the end of the high valley. On this Stay on the connecting road to reach Mittenwald after a fast, winding exit. At the bottom of Mittenwald, take the road to the right through the village until you reach the end of the village via the Isarbrücke to the sports facilities in Ried. Further through the nature reserve Riedboden at its end, shortly before Scharnitz, the Isar has to be crossed again. Cross the town centre and turn left before the church into the Karwendel valleys. At the new information centre and museum Holzerhütte pass to the Scharnitzer Kneippanlage. A short Kneipp session for refreshment, then you will feel fresh and lively again. Continue to the Isarlodge Wiesenhof, which is on the right-hand side. Follow the gravel path along the Isar until you reach the first bridge. Cross the bridge and continue along the path through the wildly romantic Giessenbach valley, past the Isartaler hut (not managed), until you reach the Oberbrunnalm after several challenging sections. The Oberbrunnalm with homemade specialities and a beautiful sun terrace invites you to linger and rest. The strenuous part of the tour is now over. From the Oberbrunnalm to Gießenbach you go through the Karltal - along the Gießenbach - from now on downhill until you reach the village Gießenbach. Cross the main road and turn right - follow the asphalt road to Gasthof Ramona. Follow the signs to the archery range and continue on the Leutasch-Seefeld hiking and cycling trail. At the country road the "Durch den Boden" leads to Leutasch, follow it to the right for a short distance and then turn left. Keep left at the next fork and drive through the Lehenwald to the Bodenalm. A snack including homemade butter, bacon for refreshment can be enjoyed here or a hearty meal a bit further at the Waldgasthof Triendlsäge. Turn left after the Waldgasthaus Triendlsäge and follow the gravel road until you reach the main road. Follow the main road past the Gasthof Neuleutasch. After about 2 kilometers on the curvy federal highway downhill, another gravel path leads into the forest on the left. Here again left partly uphill through the Fludertal to Wildmoos to the Wildmoosalm. On the left return to the Möserer See and via the World Cup Arena, Sportalm back to the starting point at the Seefeld Information Office. Beware, pasture cattle are to be expected again and again on the whole course, please keep distance and cross the pasture area calmly and briskly.
