Route: Scharnitz information centre – Path Karwendelklammsteig - Scharnitz information centre
From the information centre follow the Hinterautalstraße to the gravel plant Gaugg. After the gravel road, a small path branches off to the left. Follow the path along the Karwendelklamm until you reach the forest road in the direction of Karwendel. From here you have the possibility to walk on to the Birzel chapel or on the road back to Scharnitz. Another possibility would be to go over the Karwendelsteg to the Isarlodge Wiesenhof and back to Scharnitz. Not suitable for pushchairs.
