Departing from the starting point at the valley station, walk along the Schattseit trail until you reach the hamlet of Fallbichl/Heisbauern. Then head to the right and on to the farm track, which features more of an incline as it leads you to the Schadlbauer farm. From here, a steeper path brings you to the Hochlechen refreshment stop (view over the Kaisergebirge mountain range). Head back down along the road until you reach the Gasthof Oberberg inn (closed), where you should turn left and head past the Granbach and Ed farms before coming to the hamlet of Fallbichl. Then follow the familiar route back into the village. (This hike is not difficult, but requires stamina. Sturdy shoes are recommended.)
