From the car park, take the tarmac path into the valley. Before the small bridge over the Gschnitzbach, continue straight ahead on the single trail to the Laponesalm. Follow the alpine path uphill to the marked turn-off to the right to the Bremer Hütte (2411). Pass the picturesque Simmingsee (2010) to the hut. There, follow the signposts in the direction of the Lauterersee lake or, as a shortcut, directly onto the trail in the direction of the Innsbrucker Hütte(2369). Follow the single trails up and down to the Innsbrucker Hütte. From there there are two descents: directly to Gasthof Feuerstein to the starting point or via the Jubiläumssteig (diversions).
