From Unterberg, follow the track leading up from behind the Amosergut farmstead. Cross over the Bernkogelbach stream and carry on up along the track, over the sunny slopes up towards Drei-Waller until you reach the Huberalm. Behind the summer pasture cabin, next to the trail, you can explore the so-called "Calzit-Höhle" - a cavern containing numerous calcitic crystals, but which is sadly in a poor state of repair. Continue along the trail towards the west until you come to the path that forks off to the right to the chapel known as the Drei-Waller-Kapelle. From the chapel, carry on along the track towards the north-west, down gently to begin with, then over level terrain to the Kögerlalm. Here you have a beautiful view into the Salzach Valley, over to the Hochkönig and the Steinernes Meer. From the Kögerlalm, path No 117 leads you down to Lend. Return to Dorfgastein by train.
