The tour starts in the Dorfgastein municipal park and leads past the tourist office in the direction of Berghotel Hauserbauer. Shortly after the Hauserbauer hiking starting point, you take the Gruberwaldweg trail, which runs through shady forests. After a moderate ascent, you pass the Mühlwinkelhütte before the trail continues to the Dorfgasteiner Bergbahnen middle station. From there, the route follows the forest road, which steadily gains altitude and offers ever more impressive views.
If you don't want to make the ascent, you can also take the gondola lift up to the Fulseck in comfort. It is possible to transport your bike in the gondola.
From the mountain station of the Fulseck summit lift, an easily signposted route leads to the start of the single trail at the mountain station of the Panoramabahn cable car on the Grossarl side of the tour. From there, the trail leads 10 km and 960 metres in altitude down into the valley on 2 variants. The trail is wonderfully laid out in the forest and across mountain meadows and leads over an altitude difference of 960 metres into the valley to Grossarl. There is a great photo point at the waterfall on the way. A stop here for a souvenir photo is a must. From the valley floor, the Kieserl and Panorama cable cars take you to the next descent in just a few minutes. Or you can cycle back to Dorfgastein with only a few metres of ascent.
