The varied hike to Lake Wirpitschsee begins at the Dicktlerhütte. At the beginning, you follow a narrow path through a rustic forest up to the rear Weißpriach valley. Then follow the wide, flat forest path up to the junction on the left up to the lake. If you wish, you can also drive to the Granglerhütte parking lot and start your day tour from there. After crossing the river, you follow a beautiful hiking trail through the forest directly up to the Tonimörtlhütte. If you want a flatter walk, you can choose the alternative via the forest path. It's only 5 minutes from the cabin to the lake.
