Hohe GeiÃel â a peak with many names but one goal: an unforgettable trail run! The route starts at the parking lot in Sportgastein, with a fast-paced approach to the end of the valley before the steep ascent through the Eselskar begins. Here, endurance and technique are key as the trail winds its way up to the Hagener Hütte â the perfect spot for a short breather.
But the adventure isnât over yet! The run continues past Westerfrölkekogel (2,727 m), with the panorama expanding step by step. The final push to the summit of Hohe GeiÃel is demanding, but the reward at the top is a breathtaking 360° view. A trail run with alpine character, serious elevation gain, and pure summit bliss!
