Be enticed to climb the peaks by the highest and most renowned mountains of Upper Lusatia along the way – Valtenberg (587 m), Bieleboh (499 m), Kottmar (583 m), Lausche (793 m), and Hochwald (749 m). Discover fascinating rock formations and forest-rich, idyllic valleys. Visit the picturesque villages of this region with their vibrant traditions and unique Upper Lusatian half-timbered houses.
The route runs through the diverse mountain world of Upper Lusatia: granite ridges and volcanic domes alternate with distinctive sandstone mountains. Along the paths, which are 70% preserved in their natural state, there are also numerous peaks with mountain inns.
