Fiegl's Hütte (Windachalm)

A cozy mountain hut at 1,985 m offering stunning views of the Stubai and Ötztal Alps. A special highlight is the wild game dishes made from the hut’s own hunting grounds. The homemade Kaiserschmarren and pastries feature free-range eggs from the hut’s own chickens. This rustic hut in Windachtal is also known as Windachalm.

From Sölden, follow the trail up through the Granbichl district, then continue upwards to Fiegl’s Hut (approx. 1.5 hours). For a shorter hike, take the hiking bus to Windachalm. A detailed route description can be found on the website linked below.
