From Kufstein/Mitterndorf, the forest road leads to Berghaus Aschenbrenner and continues via the panoramic trail to Brentenjochalm. The alpine inn is well-known and popular for its “Kiachl” and “Zillertaler Krapfen” – both fried Tyrolean delicacies. Also inviting for a stopover is the Weinbergerhaus. About 50 step meters higher you are rewarded with an amazing view. Via the inns Duxer Alm and Hinterduxerhof, which also tempt you in to enjoy a traditional snack, the descent, which is steep in parts, proceeds back to the fitness area Motorikpark and Kufstein. Alternatively, turn left after Duxer Alm and head back to the starting point. Along the route are some wonderful energy-filled places highlighting the mighty Kaiser mountains and beckoning to consciously enjoy.
