One of the most popular racing bike tours in the lower part of Tyrol is the so-called “Reintaler Seen Runde“, a tour to lake Reintaler. Start this tour in Wörgl, at Tourist-info, Innsbrucker Straße 1. Cycle through Wörgl and continue then in eastern direction along the railway to the next village, Angath. Keep to the left after the village centre and go on along the banks of the Inn river until Oberlangkampfen. Now stay left and take the road to Mariastein. Stay on the main road and pass this place of pilgrimage. At the hotel Kraftquelle Schlossblick turn to the right and the first considerable climb is ahead of you. On this quiet road you get to Schönau district and from there along an amazing descent down to Breitenbach am Inn. Leave Breitenbach behind and take the second steep climb of the day before heading along the long even road to Lake Reintaler and Lake Krummsee and further on to Kramsach. Follow the main road through Kramsach and go on towards Rattenberg where you turn to the left right after the bridge over the Inn river. Now follow the signposted Inn cycling path which leads you via an industrial park back to Wörgl. Tip: a stop off in Mariastein to visit the pilgrimage church is definitely worth it.
