From the Steinberg parish church head north past the two houses on the left and downwards to the valley “Luxegg”. Cross the road and take the meadow path up past the farm until you reach the asphalt road. Follow the road on the right and after the last house turn left and follow the forest road for a little until you reach the signpost “Guffert”. Take the middle driveway to “Bärenwaldweg” and continue until you reach the restaurant “Gasthof Waldhäusl”. Continue on the right to the federal road which you then cross to the left into the “Sandbichlweg” path. Continue past the car park of the ski lifts “Rofanlifte II” and after approx. 300 m, turn left into the access road of a farm. Behind the farm the path leads through meadows back to the starting point.
