From the car park near the restaurant “Gasthof Waldhäusl” walk along a partly steep track towards the “Guffert”. At approx. 1,800 m above sea level you can take a detour to the “Schmidtquelle”. The “Guffertsteig” trail then leads across rocky high fields and mountain pines, eventually reaching the rocky ridge of the summit which is secured with a wire rope. Follow the route you took on the ascent back to the valley.
