From the valley station of the Karwendel cable car, follow the signs to “Rodlhütte/Tristenautal”. From the “Rodlhütte” mountain hut follow the junction to “Bärenbadalm” mountain hut. From there continue to “Zwölferkopf”.
The “Zwölferkopf” and the “Alpengasthaus Karwendel” mountain hut are accessible by the Karwendel cable car.
