From the Steinberg parish church head west past the farm “Messnerhof” and continue on the gravel path to the farm “Obermooshof”. From there the path leads onto the road, then rises on the right before turning left at the junction. A steep path leads to the “Gfaßsattel”. From there, take the forest road and then the forest path to the “Schönjochalm” mountain hut. On the way back, take the forest road to Steinberg.
