This enjoyable panoramic tour starts at the hiking starting point Going Center (former tourist information Going) (764 m) and along the 'Hausbach' creek until you see the inn 'Dorfwirt' with its chapel. The bench there invites you to take a short break and you get an insight into village life.
The path continues along the stream, you walk past the bakery and may catch the scent of freshly baked bread made from regional products.
At the end of the village you will come to a large car park. After the bridge, turn left onto the grvel path that leads you towards the 'Stanglwirt'. The creek 'Hausbach' accompanies you with a gentle murmur. You hike idyllically through the forest and breathe in the energy of it with all its nature.
There, you should cross the bridge located to your right and head in the direction of the fire station. After the bridge, bear left onto a gravel path that will take you towards the Stanglwirt hotel. The gentle rushing of the Going Hausbach stream will accompany you as you make your way. Enjoy the idyllic walk through the forest and breathe in its natural energy. In summer, the forest provides cool shades on hot days.
At the "Auhäusl" signpost, turn right towards Hollenauer Kreuz and follow the path to Nottenberg farm. Head past blooming fields, meadows and the Kitzbühler Alpen in front of you, the iek is easy until you reachthe SöllnerstraÃe juction, which you cross. Follow the signpost to the Hollenauer Kreuz hut.
At this power place of going, located at 1,030 metres, you will not only find the best natural view of the Wilder Kaiser, but alsohomemade apple strudel. Simply savour the view of the Wilder Kaiser.
After a refreshing break, follow the path to Going across the country through meadows and forests until you reach the practice ski lifts. Turn right here and you will reach the starting poing.
