Start at the Länd car park at the information office, along the Auweg to the Isarbrücke bridge. Turn right up the slightly ascending path, pass the "Gästehaus Helga" on the right and continue straight on until the path leads into the "Karwendeltalweg". Follow the path into the valley until you reach the junction "Birzlkapelle", a small chapel in the middle of the forest. Return the same way. Attention! The path can be closed in winter due to avalanche danger. Please follow the signs!
