Start this tour with the comfortable ascent of the Astbergbahn Going. Arrived at the mountain station of the Astbergbahn, hike left past the Pony Alm and follow the signs Rauher Kopf via hiking trail no. 9. Continue past lush meadows, over shady root paths through an idyllic landscape to the Lierstätt junction. Keep left here. At the Greiln junction, turn left and follow the forest road on hiking trail no. 11 towards Hartkaiser. Always straight ahead with a unique view of the Wilder Kaiser massif continues until you come to the junction "Am-Kalten-Wasser". There, take another sip of water and a view of the Wilder Kaiser before heading uphill through blueberry bushes to the Rauhen Kopf.
Once you have reached the top, take a long rest at the summit cross before heading back. Return along the same path until you reach the Greiln junction. From here, keep to the left past the Lierstätt farm, in the direction of the Jezz Alm. At the Jezz Alm (or Blattalm) you have the possibility to stop for a break. From now on you can decide whether you want to take the easier path via the forest road back to the mountain station Astbergbahn, or via the Hausberg.
