From Neustift (leisure centre car park) initially towards the valley along the riverside path to Milders, Oberbergtal. The trail soon turns towards Bichlhof, where some great trails await up to the Milderaunalm and further on to Hühnerspiel, a site of natural beauty. The trail up to Brandstattalm, down to Auffangalm and back to Bichlhof is just as scenic. The second ascent leads up to the Forchach mountain farm, where it continues briefly on tarmac to the Kartnallhöfen. From there you can see your destination as you look over Kartnall, a site of natural beauty, to the starting point.
