There are many routes to the Schrofen Mountain Restaurant above Niederau at 830 metres. (open Saturday and Sunday). The shortest and easiest route starts from the Hotel Austria in Niederau, past the Hotel Sonne via Stockeben (approx. 4 km = 1 hour). Or the longer routes takes you through the woods to the Möslalm cross and the Möslalm Hut for wonderful views along the Inn Valley. Pass the tiny grotto on the way back down to the Schrofen Restaurant.
Typical Tirolean dishes are on the menu and live music is played regularly.
