Start this pleasant tour at the tourist information office in Hopfgarten. Go along the calm, tarmacked road past Haslau district. Right opposite the Neuschmied sawmill a narrow road leads up to Glantersberg. This rather steep path runs along a refreshing little river. Right behind the first small settlements at Glantersberg you’ll be surrounded by lovely meadows and woods. From there the route leads leisurely onwards until you get to one final climb shortly before the village of Kelchsau. In Kelchsau, a small resort situated in a side valley of the Brixen Valley, you’ll feel like being placed right into the setting for a sentimental film with all the picturesque old farmhouses, deep green forests, pristine alpine pastures and gurgling mountain rivers. Along the Kelchsau river the tour now leads steadily downhill back to Hopfgarten. Shortly before getting back to your point of departure you come by the Salvenaland leisure park which is beckoning with its idyllic bathing lake and amazing natural setting for a refreshing stop off. The leisure park with its mini golf course and summer toboggan run is not only a hit with children – here you can also recharge the batteries of your e-bike. Free parking in the centre of Hopfgarten – P2/ Zentrum parking lot or the gravel parking lot Wasserfeld (by the road to Kelchsau on the right)
