Beautiful, long, romantic winter hiking trail ATTENTION: Gutter Upper Rauth-Fuchsloch this winter 2018/2019 closed due to storm damage, so hike along the little-used country road. Through the village Rinnen completely through following the country road for about 500 m to the bus stop branch Anrauth / road direction Namlos. Turn right and continue for about 1 km on the road - past Anrauth - to the avalanche dam on the left. Cross the dam and follow the winter hiking trail (Forstweg) to Mitteregg (snack station Wechner, closed on Mondays). You can hike back to Berwang the same way. However, we recommend on the way back from Mitteregg on the main road (little traffic) to Brand (2 km) to walk (Gasthof Bergblick on fire, Wednesday rest day) and continue along the road to Rinnen. From there again past the Hotel Thaneller and over the promenade Rinnen back to Berwang or from Brand back by post- or ski busses of the Tyrolean Zugspitz Area.
