This nice cycling tour is particularly suited for hobby cyclists and families. Start this pleasant tour right in the centre of Hopfgarten, at the tourist information centre. Go through the railway underpass and across the bridge. Turn left after the bridge and ride on towards Kelchsau. In the village Kelchsau you have to manage with a short ascent on asphalt before getting past beautiful old farmhouses and a short downhill passage to Innerkelchsau. Turn left at the toll booth and cross the wooden bridge and follow the marked way to Kurzer Grund. Keep to this road which leads you past an impressive stud farm to a reservoir situated next to the alpine dairy farm Niederkaseralm. This dairy farm has been in family hands for generations and still today the products are made according to old recipes and long-standing traditions. Enjoy a typical snack here and take the opportunity to recharge the battery of your e-bike. Now you can continue further on to the inn Gasthof Wegscheid at the end of the valley. The inn is well-known for its fine traditional cuisine and regional delicacies. To return to your starting point take the same way back.
