Starting from the parish church walk in a southerly direction along Innsbrucker Straße to Hotel Bergland. There branch off to your right and follow the road that bypasses Seefeld to the south. At Haus Seerose turn left onto the walking trail. Initially follow the trail that runs alongside the lake until you reach the forest. There turn right and walk along the edge of the woods, over the Seefelder Sattel to Auland (trail no. 4 – NB: steeply sloping section as far as Gasthof Englhof). Walking time: approx. ¾ hour. From Auland continue to Reith (trail no. 14). Walking time: approx. ½ hour (easy). You can return to Seefeld either by train or along walking trail no. 14 via Auland (see next route description).
