From the Salzbach parking area (P5) in Leutasch on a wide forest path - at the beginning a little steeper, then flat through the picturesque Gaistal uphill. After a short downhill walk you reach the crossing to the Gaistal- and Tillfußalm, at km 6,5 you reach the junction to the Hochfeldernalm. Leaving the bottom of the valley, pass the Felderalm and a short steep section to the forest line and pass the turnoff to the Ehrwalder Alm. After about another kilometre you reach the Hochfeldernalm (1,732 m), which is open in summer. Return the same way.
