The hike starts at the Gasteiner Heilstollen on a wide hiking trail. From the Hieronymus cross, the trail narrows somewhat and climbs slightly uphill to the Blumfeldköpfel. Follow the Peter - Sika - path. Cross the Radhausberg mountain across wide meadows and a high moor to the Schiedeckalm. From here the trail continues to the Knappenbäudelsee, from where you descend to Nassfeld.
