The Fulseckbahn cable car takes you comfortably to the mountain station, the starting point of the hike. The pistes of the Dorfgastein-GroÃarl ski area can only be glimpsed in the green mountain world, hard to believe that there are so many skiers here again in just a few months. After a few kilometres, you reach the Kreuzkogel, the highest point of the tour. The 360° panoramic view of the Gastein mountains and far beyond is a pure delight. If you follow the ridge path to Perastlscharte, you will reach today's destination - the Schockhochalm - via a small path. After a well-earned rest and refreshment stop, the forest path winds its way back down into the valley. Once at the bottom, you cross the village of Harbach (a district of Bad Hofgastein) until you reach the main road. There is a bus stop here, from where you can return to the starting point.
