For all conquerors of the Super-Ferrata on the Dachstein, there is a via ferrata trophy starting this year. The tour consists of the via ferratas Anna, Johann, and the east shoulder ascent on the Hoher Dachstein. It is nearly 1,200 vertical meters from the beginning of the steel cable safety to the end of the cable at the Dachstein summit. However, it's not just the vertical meters that are impressive—the difficulties encountered, rated at D/E, are at the top of the scale. The length and difficulty of the via ferratas are meant only for experts with enough experience! The high commitment of strength and endurance is rewarded with breathtaking, exposed, and steep vertical passages on the via ferrata. Once you finally stand on the almost 3,000-meter-high Dachstein summit, you have magnificent views extending far to the ice giants of the Hohe Tauern. The Super-Ferrata Dachstein is thus one of the longest and most demanding via ferrata tours in the Alps.
