The Hochstubaihütte, located at 3,175 meters, is the highest hut of the DAV (German Alpine Club) in the Stubai Alps. Primarily a shelter, the hut offers simple refreshments. It provides protection and a winter room for high-altitude tours. What is particularly remarkable is the breathtaking panoramic view of Tirol and the "Himmelsleiter" (Heaven's Ladder) along the hiking route to the hut. It gives you the feeling that you're climbing up to the sky!
Opening times: End of June – Beginning of September
Overnight accommodation: 10 dormitory beds / 32 mattress spaces

The hike begins from Sölden, leading to Granbichl and then on to Kleble-Alm. From the Alm, continue towards Laubkar, pass the Laubkarsee, and ascend to the hut (approx. 5 hours). Alternatively, you can shorten the route by taking the hut taxi to Fiegl's Hütte. From there, ascend via the Himmelsleiter to the Hochstubaihütte (approx. 3 hours). A detailed route description can be found on the website listed below (on the left).
