Proudly perched above the Windachtal in the Stubai Alps, the Siegerland Hütte sits at an elevation of 2,710 meters, not far from the border with South Tyrol. The hut features its own climbing area and was opened in 1928. It is owned by the German Alpine Club, Siegerland Section. Every year, during the section’s volunteer work week, extensive renovations, construction, and painting are carried out. The Siegerland Hütte is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful huts in the Stubai Alps.
