Hike through the pristine Grießbachklamm gorge. At the end of the gorge keep to your left and continue to Breitaualmen. The trail leads past some beautiful, old mountain huts to Kapellkreuz, a magnificent vista point. Follow a narrow path uphill through dwarf pines to Kirchberg. Kirchberg is the Kalkstein’s highest point and offers superb views. A narrow path takes you down to Gerstbergalm where you take a supply road across the plateau. To get back to the parking lot you can either hike via Huberalm or via Angerlalm.
